Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows − Part 1 is a motion picture soundtrack to the 2010 film of the same name, written and conducted by the French film composer Alexandre Desplat. The soundtrack was nominated for the 2010 IFMCA Award for Best Original Score for a Fantasy Film and the 2010 Satellite Award for Best Original Score.

JoJo - JoJo

JoJo is the self-titled debut album by American recording artist JoJo, released in the United States on June 22, 2004 by Da Family Entertainment and Blackground Records. While recording the album, JoJo worked with many producers, such as Brian Alexander Morgan, Soulshock & Karlin, Dexter Simmons, Mike City, Balewa Muhammad, Tre Black, Bink!, G.P., The Underdogs, The Co-Stars, Reggie Burrell, Ronald Burrell, Kwamé "K1 Mill", Young Freak and Vincent Herbert. The album was preceded by the release of JoJo's debut single, "Leave (Get Out)", which achieved critical and commercial success worldwide. In the US, the single peaked inside the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and also topped the Pop 100 singles chart, making her the youngest artist in history to achieve this. In the United Kingdom, the single also performed well, reaching a peak of number two. Follow-up single "Baby It's You" featured rapper Bow Wow and became JoJo's second top 40 hit in the US. In the UK, the song became her second Top 10 hit, peaking at number eight. The single also reached the top ten of New Zealand, climbing to a peak of number ten. The third and final single, "Not That Kinda Girl" was released internationally only. However, it did see a minor release onto US radio. Due to the lack of a physical copy, the single failed to chart in the US, becoming her first to do so. The single did manage to chart in Australia and Germany, however, the chart performance of the song was an overall failure.

The album debuted and peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart selling 95,000 copies in its first week. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on November 15, 2004, denoting US sales in excess of one million copies. The album also proved to be a success elsewhere. In the UK, the album has been certified gold. The album received the same certification in Germany, while in Canada, the album was certified platinum. JoJo was promoted mainly through live, televised performances. JoJo appeared on shows such as On Air with Ryan Seacrest as well as performing at the 2004 Kid's Choice Awards. Aside from network appearances, JoJo also embarked on a Mall Tour with other artist, and went on a European tour with Usher.

Ke$ha - Cannibal (Deluxe Edition)

Cannibal is the first extended play (EP) by American recording artist Kesha, released on November 19, 2010. The EP is a followup companion to her previous record, Animal. Originally, the record was thought to be released as a deluxe edition of Animal, but was instead sold and released as both an EP and a deluxe edition of Animal. Kesha worked with a variety of producers and writers such as such as the executive producer Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, Ammo, Max Martin, Bangladesh and others. Musically, the songs on Cannibal are of the dance-pop genre while incorporating elements of electro and electropop in their production and beats. Throughout the album, the use of Auto-Tune and vocoders is prominent. Lyrically, the songs on Cannibal speak of ignoring judgement or hate and experiences based on love and heartbreak.

Cannibal received generally positive reviews from music critics. However, a common complaint amongst critics was the overuse of Auto-Tune, while the album's production was generally highlighted. The album's lyrics generally polarized music critics; some praised her boldness, while others criticized them as being too raunchy. In the United States, the EP reached a peak of fifteen selling 74,000 copies in its first week of release. In Canada, the album achieved similar success reaching a peak of fourteen on the chart. Cannibal was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipment of 500,000 copies.

Two singles were released from the album. The lead single, "We R Who We R", was a worldwide success, reaching number one in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, and charting within the top ten in numerous other countries. In the United States, the song became the seventeenth song in the Billboard Hot 100's history to debut at number one. The album's second single, "Blow", was released on February 8, 2011. The song accomplished top ten positions in multiple countries including Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed (Deluxe Edition)

Can't Be Tamed is the third studio album by American recording artist Miley Cyrus, first released on June 18, 2010 by Hollywood Records. Writing and recording commenced while Cyrus traveled on the 2009 Wonder World Tour. 19 live performances and backstage interviews from a performance at London's O2 Arena are featured on the second disc of the deluxe edition of Can't Be Tamed. The album's producers include longtime collaborators Antonina Armato, Tim James, and John Shanks. Musically, Can't Be Tamed ranges from acoustic ballads to dance-pop numbers. The tracks share a theme of breaking free of constraints and expectations. This is the last album that she released with Hollywood Records.

Can't Be Tamed debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, at number eight on the UK Albums Chart and at number four in the German. The album's lead single and title track, "Can't Be Tamed", was released on May 18, 2010. It debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and number five also on the New Zealand Singles Chart. The second single, "Who Owns My Heart", was released on October 26, 2010. Promotion was primarily through concerts and television appearances.

Ke$ha - Animal

Animal is the debut studio album by American pop singer Kesha. The album was released on January 1, 2010, by RCA Records. Kesha worked with a variety of producers and writers such as Lukasz Gottwald (Dr. Luke), Benny Blanco, David Gamson, Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, and others. Kesha had been recording demos for several years when one eventually ended up in the hands of Samantha Cox, senior director of writer/publisher relations at BMI. Cox passed along the demo and it ended up in the hands of Gottwald, who decided to have Kesha perform on the song "Right Round". Within two months, the song became a hit in multiple countries around the world. The event led to Kesha being sought after by many major labels, and she eventually signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records.

The album received mixed reviews from music critics. Some appreciated its fun, carefree nature, while others dismissed it as juvenile and said that it seemed insincere. The use of Auto-Tune on the album to alter Kesha's voice was called fun by some critics, while others found it irritating and said it made it difficult to tell if Kesha could actually sing. Lyrically, the majority of the album's songs are based on Kesha's past life experiences of love, heartbreak, boys, and having a good time. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed at the top for nine consecutive weeks. The song sold 12.8 million digital copies worldwide in 2010, making it the best selling single of the year; it sold 5,633,000 downloads in the United States alone, making it the sixth best-selling song in digital history. The album's second, third and fourth singles, "Blah Blah Blah", "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Take It Off" all achieved similar success reaching the top ten in multiple countries including Australia, Canada and the United States.

Never Say Never: The Remixes is the second remix album by Canadian recording artist Justin Bieber. This album found success in the U.S. by reaching #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the RIAA. This album features the artists Jaden Smith, Rascal Flatts, Usher, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, and Raekwon. Features 3 remixes of songs from Justin's latter debut album "My World 2.0" a live version of "Overboard" and an inspirational ballad.

Rihanna - Loud (Explicit Version)

Loud is the fifth studio album by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, first released on November 12, 2010, by Def Jam Recordings. The album was recorded between February and August 2010, predominantly during Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth Tour and filming for her first feature film Battleship (2012). Rihanna was executive producer on the album and worked with several record producers, including StarGate, The Runners, Polow da Don, Tricky Stewart, and Alex da Kid, among others. The album featured several guest vocalists, including Drake, Nicki Minaj and Eminem, who is featured on the sequel to "Love the Way You Lie", "Love the Way You Lie (Part II)", where Rihanna sang lead vocals. Britney Spears appears on the remix of the single version of "S&M", although she is not on the album version.

The album differed from Rihanna's previous release, Rated R (2009), which featured a prominently foreboding and angry tone with dark themes and incorporated elements of hip hop, rock, and dubstep music genres. Loud features up-tempo and pop genres, ranging from dance-pop to electro-R&B, and marked her return to her dancehall roots, which was prominent on her earlier albums Music of the Sun (2005) and A Girl like Me (2006). The album also incorporates rock in "California King Bed" and reggae in the Caribbean inspired "Man Down".

Loud received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented its upbeat material and Rihanna's vocal performances, with some critics calling it "brilliantly sassy and exuberant at times" and praised "the subtle West Indian flavor." However, some critics found the album to be "slapdash" and more of "an unfocused assortment of poor-to-solid songs than a unified set." The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first week sales of 207,000 copies, the highest first week sales of her career to date. The album debuted at number one on the Canadian and Swiss Albums Chart. In the United Kingdom, the album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and was the fourth best-selling album of 2010, although it was released at the end of November of that year. Loud was a commercial success internationally. It peaked at number one in Canada, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Scotland and Switzerland, and reached the Top 5 in Australia, Denmark, France and Germany.

The album produced seven singles, including the international hits "Only Girl (In the World)", "What's My Name?", and "S&M". All three singles reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. "S&M" was Rihanna's tenth US number one song, making Rihanna the youngest recording artist to accumulate ten number one songs in the shortest time, surpassing Mariah Carey's record. In the United Kingdom "Only Girl (In the World)" and "What's My Name?" peaked at number one, while "S&M" peaked at number three. "Only Girl (In the World)" won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in February 2011. To support the album, Rihanna embarked on her third worldwide concert tour, entitled the Loud Tour. On November 30, 2011, the album was nominated for three Grammy Awards including Album of the Year.
